Márta Sebestyén: traditional magyar.... Hungary, Eastern Europe... I have feelings for this music (which is however not the easiest and which will surely reject some). If I know it, it's thanks to the Ghibli studio in Japan: it was part of the musics of the film Omohide Poroporo (1991 - japanese animation - "only yesterday" - "souvenirs goute à goute"), and more than playing it, they are talking about it in the movie.

About Stornelli, the traditionnal italian song, it's "coming" from the same manga. moreover, it's a song my italian grandmother knew and that we are sometimes listenning to when we go and visit (now i do it each time, it's an old vinyl, of course old....). i already post about this song!
next to Márta Sebestyén, here is another good stuff from eastern europe: Goran Bregovic of course. I've putted on the radio.blog the anthem of this page "mesecina, mesecina, joj joj, joj joj" from the movie underground. i have to modify the words (that are permanently on this page, just up the porco rosso picture), they are not exactly the same, i think. you can't find those words easily on the web i think, (at least, i had some difficulty) and there sometimes people coming on this blog because of these lyrics.
