Friday night, with the bunch of friends from france, we went to a jazz club in Cph.
2 bands were there. the first one was good, playing tunes quite funky... always a good groove in their songs. but the second was more interesting. a lot more technical, it was more jazz (not so groove, more swing i wuold say)... you had to pay more attention but i really loved some tunes where the rythmic section was amazing... not easy to describe. some solos were quite impressive. some guests (trumpet, saxophone) came and play. it was really nice.
i still didn't make up my mind for next friday.... monty alexander at the jazz house... 200 dkk... we'll see.
